![]() Pairing this speaker is the same as pairing most other Bluetooth devices. When looking at the bottom of the speaker you’ll see Soundcore’s logo inside a rubber ring that elevates the unit off the surface. Below that is a cover protecting the USB-C charging port. On the backside of the speaker are two more buttons, one for Bluetooth and the other for turning the bass boost on and off. Continuing down to the bottom is another ring for more lights. This ring houses the LEDs that move to the beat of your music. Underneath the control buttons is a rubber ring that goes around the speaker. Starting with the top of the speaker are five different buttons, play/pause, power on/off, volume up (+), volume down (-), and a bulb that changes the lights on the speaker. Then I tried to reconnect it to the PC as an external device, using the cable and the anker update software. I use a wall charger from Anker as well, charge with other micro usb cable, and left it their for another day. I tried to plug it in another charger, with another cable. That light never turn off, and I can't do anything. I left it there for 2 days, hoping it might just take longer than usual. It turns back on normally, works well and healthy. And, yeah, I was right, but also wrong at the same time. I left them there, thinking they would turn back on after a few minutes. I unplugged them, and both of their light remains solid red, just like how they were a couple of minutes after updating the firmware. I thought there were just some trouble with my external drive's cable, but then I realized that notification actually meant my speaker. As I had noticed earlier, I heard some weird notifications sound while using my computer, saying something about unidentified plugged-in devices. It normally takes me around 6-7 hour to charge both of them. Their light turns on solid red, like they're charging. I charged them the way I did before, with my computer, through the same cable I use to connect them while updating the firmware. Both work, nothing strange happened, until their battery runs low. After the updating process, I unplugged them from my computer and use them quite normal. I have 2 Soundcore Flare, so I can pair them up and get some really beautiful sound. ![]() ![]() Last week, I update my Soundcore Flare speaker to the lastest firmware, well, both of my speakers. Guys, I'm really hopeless now and this might be my last attempt to recover my Soundcore Flare. TL DR: My Flare stays solid red light, and I did everything to recover it, but didn't work.
